HEAL India (Health & Environment Alliance for Life – India)

HEAL India (Health & Environment Alliance for Life – India) is a public charitable trust committed to advancing environmental health and sustainable development across the nation. We are a non-political, non-profit, and voluntary organisation dedicated to creating meaningful impact through innovative programmes, advocacy, and partnerships. Our work spans the breadth of India, with a special focus on promoting river cleanliness, health awareness, policy advocacy, and community engagement.

Health & Environment Alliance for Life (HEAL) India is a registered Trust based in Delhi, working at the intersection of public health and environmental protection.

While registered in Delhi, HEAL India intends to undertake activities across states in India — and internationally wherever aligned with its mission — in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.

HEAL India was established with the understanding that many of India’s health challenges — including waterborne diseases, air pollution-related illnesses, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and emerging public health threats — are closely linked to environmental determinants.

Despite substantial investment in treatment-based healthcare, preventive environmental action remains under-prioritized. HEAL India seeks to contribute meaningfully to addressing root causes of disease.
